The invention can be used at making high-power lasers with high-quality radiation. The flowing gas laser contains chamber of excitation, drawn along a stream of mixed gas, optical resonator, being stable and unstable in two orthogonally related planes, which axis transits across a streamline of a mixed gas. Thus the plane, in which the resonator is unstable, is inclined in relation to a streamline of a mixed gas, and the caustic of the resonator intercrosses almost all section of a stream.
