Process and device for stained glass manufacture.
ABSTRACT

The proposed invention falls into field of laser material handling systems with the purpose of deriving decorative workpieces, in particular, stained glass. Problems of the invention are: the increase of process productivity of stained glass manufacture, and also expansion of an opportunity of different figures deriving irrespective of their complexity. New in an offered process is that the glass cutting is made with laser beam, with the subsequent filling of space between formed pattern elements by a fusible alloy, soldering with a substrate, and also that on separate elements different fusible colours are sprayed, then a surface of each element treates with laser beam.. The offered device consists of laser machine, XY- table, controlled with processor, including carriage with focalizing lens and nozzle, supporting slab, on which locates the substrate with glass. On the carriage is fixed the falling device of fusible alloy and cartridge with a set of different colours.
