The offered process of laser treating can be used at manufacture of details and equipment in different fields of mechanical engineering, chemical industry, kernel energetics, ets. The process can also be applied during repairs of eroded details, for example, journals of bent shafts, pack bevels of vents in engines. The substance of process: after a laser hard-facing is carried on removing of a liquid phase of fused roller and immediately behind it is carried on the operation of laser milling. For more proportional distribution of fused metal, and also for volume lowering of subsequent finishing operations, liquid phase of roller is transferd in the direction of previous roller and followed by laser beam. Usage of this process allows to eliminate the operation of mechanical milling, to lower volume of wor, or completely to eliminate the operation of mechanical polishing, to reduce quantity of absorbed heat, to reduce deformations
