Compact power gas laser.
ABSTRACT

The offered construction of technological laser can be used at making compact power lasers. The laser head consists of a housing, optical resonator, having system of electrodes, and also close and output windows. Distinctive feature of the laser is that the resonator axis is perpendicular to the plane of its electrodes. The system of electrodes represents a series of alternating rotated and fixed electrodes. The rotated electrodes are anchored on the shaft, having roll drive. The fixed electrodes are anchored on the housing. The rotated and fixed disks have holes, located on one axis. The fixed electrodes have cooling system. The construction of resonator can be fulfilled multipass. In this case axes of each pass coincide with axes of holes, drilled in fixed electrodes. Rotated electrodes ensure more intensive heat transfer from a gas mix to walls and so increase efficiency. Using of this invention will allow to provide high quality of output beam, its high power and small dimensions of the laser.
