ABSTRACT

The laser complex for pipeline welding is offered.

The device incorporates the mobile unit and the platform, on which the processing equipment ( independent power station, control system, box with tubes, intended for welding, technological laser) is disposed. Also on the platform is disposed the pipeline end. The welding head is posed inside the pipeline. The welding occurs within a tube. The input of laser beam to the welding head occurs on an axis of a welded tube. The welding head is autonomous and includes rotary mirror, focusing lens, seam gas protection, mobile device with wheels, cylinder with protective gas, local control system. Between control system of the technological laser and local control system of the welding head there is an optical communication on a controlling length of beam wave with the help of auxiliary low power lasers.

At joining of a next tube from the box to the pipeline there is a generation of laser beam. This beam is focused and guided on the welded junction. Thus the head turns around of the pipeline axis, realizing ring welding. After welding the mobile unit together with the welding head is moves independently inside a tube on a distance, equal to a tube length, while the welded tube remains in place. Then the box with tubes turns on one position, occurs joining of a new tube, the process starts again. In parallel or at the end of a cycle there is a charging of box by a new set of tubes.

The application of offered device will allow to provide major operation reliability because of construction simplification.
