Adaptive mirror.
ABSTRACT

 

The offered adaptive mirror can be used in resonators of technological lasers, systems of transportation and focusing of beam, in laser detection, telescopes, etc. Adaptive mirror consists of element with reflecting surface on a wave length of a basic beam and absorbing layer on a wave length of controlling beam and transparent on a wave length of basic beam. The absorbing coat can have an absorption constant, varying on the aperture. The controlling beam can move on a mirror surface through a mask - transparency or by scanning. Giving controlling beam under the relevant law, it is possible to shape thermal distortions of a mirror surface under the necessary law, or to cancel out thermal distortions of basic power beam.
