Device for laser treating of fragile sheet materials.
ABSTRACT

Device for laser treating of fragile sheet materials is offered. The device can be used for figured cutting of usual glass, devitrified glass such as Pyroceram, different views of ceramics, etc. The device consists of technological laser, control system, frame with disposed in it treating sheet in a vertical standing, system of beam transmitting, XY- system of optical-focusing head moving in working space. New in construction of offered device is the presence on non-working side the mechanism of action on sheet treating surface. The working element of this mechanism can be fulfilled as a moving ball. Mechanism has XY- system of travel. The travels of mechanism and optical-focusing system are synchronous, that ensures effective cutting of material.Vibrator, included in the composition of mechanism, also increments efficiency of cutting. The quantity of action force on a treating surface is defined on the basis of technological requirements of treating- material, its width, beam power, etc.
